Service Agreements and Quotes

Free Consultations: We offer complimentary site assessments with no obligation to hire.

Written Estimates: All quotes are provided in writing with detailed specifications, timelines, and pricing. Quotes remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted.

Project Agreements: Work begins after both parties sign a formal service agreement outlining scope, payment terms, timeline, and responsibilities.

Scope Changes: Any modifications require written approval and may adjust pricing and timelines.

Payment Terms

Deposits: Most projects require an initial deposit for scheduling and materials, as specified in your agreement.

Timeline Estimates: Provided timelines are estimates. Delays from weather, site conditions, permits, or factors beyond our control may extend completion dates.

Site Access: Clients must provide clear, safe access to work areas. Failure to do so may cause project delays.

Client Responsibilities

By engaging our services, you agree to:

  • Obtain necessary property owner permissions

  • Ensure utilities are marked before excavation

  • Maintain clear access to work areas

  • Remove vehicles or obstacles from work zones as requested

  • Make timely payments according to the agreed schedule

Our Commitments

Licensed and Insured: We maintain appropriate licensing and comprehensive insurance coverage.

Warranties: Warranty terms for materials and workmanship are specified in individual service agreements. Warranties do not cover damage from improper use, lack of maintenance, ground movement, acts of nature, or alterations by others.

Liability and Insurance

Property Protection: We take reasonable precautions to protect your property. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, unmarked utilities, or undisclosed site conditions.

Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations: Must be submitted in writing. Fees may apply based on work performed, materials ordered, and scheduling commitments.

Rescheduling: We accommodate requests when possible, but repeated rescheduling may result in additional fees.

Site Conditions

Unexpected Issues: Hidden conditions (unsuitable soil, hidden utilities, structural issues) will be reported immediately and may require change orders.

Utility Damage: We are not liable for damages to unmarked or improperly marked utilities.

Permits and Compliance

Permits: Unless otherwise specified, obtaining necessary permits is the property owner's responsibility. We can assist for an additional fee.

Code Compliance: All work complies with local building codes in Davis and Yolo County.

Dispute Resolution

Resolution Process: We're committed to addressing concerns promptly. Contact us immediately if issues arise.

Governing Law: These terms are governed by California state law. Disputes will be resolved in Yolo County courts.
